Matthew Learned is Senior Counsel with FPLG, chairing the firm’s Litigation Practice Area. Matt holds a J.D. from California Western School of Law, and an MBA from San Diego State University.

This diverse experience ensures Matt is able to advise FPLG’s business and nonprofit clients through the difficulties they can experience during the litigation process.

Matt has been litigating cases for over 10 years, and during that time he has had the opportunity to take complicated cases through trial and argue before both the 9th Circuit and California Court of Appeals.

Matt began his career working as in-house counsel for an independent record label and remains passionate about musical education.

In his free time, Matt enjoys spending time with his family (wife, 2 young boys and 2 terrier mixes), cycling and learning to play the ukulele.
